Abstract(in English) | Lots of mobile devices equip GPS and everyone can easily use location based services (LBSs). In addition, Indoor MEssaging Service(IMES) enables users to receive location information indoors. Therefore, it is expected that users also have benefits of LBSs in large commercial buildings like shopping malls. However, it is difficult to process huge queries generated from shopping mall users, because tens of thousands of users receive location information and send queries every second. In this paper, I propose a method of distributed data management to process these queries based on geographical location information, considering features of large scale location based services. Experimental results show that the proposed distributed servers collaborate to process users queries and achieve scalability. |
