Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Extended Network Management (ENM) Project is proposing the ENM framework for unified management of the networks composed of multiple wireless technologies and protocols. In this paper, we designed a QoS monitoring tool in which the ENM Interface Service registers network information with the Knowledge Base, the ENM Middleware acquires the information from the Knowledge Base, and then an end-to-end QoS guaranteed path is calculated. We adopted Diameter Base Protocol for communication between ENM entities, and designed the ENM entities as a Diameter Application. We designed an IP network ontology to describe network topology and QoS information. We implemented tools as a prototype.
