| 抄録(和) | 2011年9月末時点において、日本国内のFTTHアクセスサービス契約数は、前年同月比+232万加入の2,142万加入に到達している。しかしながら、その増加数は年々減少傾向にある。今後も安定して契約数を増やすためには、全世帯数の約4割を占める集合住宅への光配線の促進が有効手段の一つとされる。本稿では、集合住宅における光配線技術の最近の開発動向をレビューし、今後の課題について議論する。 |
| 抄録(英) | At the end of September in 2011, the number in Japan of FTTH access service subscriptions has reached 21.42 million of +2.32 million increasing compared with the same month of the previous year. However, the number of increases is on a downward trend every year. The promotion of optical cabling system for the Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) buildings where it accounts for about 40 percent of the number of all households in Japan is viewed as a way to the effective steps to stable increase of the subscriptions in the future. In this report, a recent development trend in optical cabling technology for MDU buildings is reviewed, and future tasks are discussed. |
