Abstract(in English) Sueface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor based on Hetero-core structures fiber optic was fabricated and applied to the determination of ethanol in water and/or gasoline is described. The SPR sensor was fabricated by depositing gold thin film on the hetero-core part. The SPR sensor could measure the ethanol concentration in water and/or gasoline. According to alternating of the ethanol concentration, the peak wavelength of the spectra shifted. The sensor could measure the ethanol concentration as a function of the refractive index, which is detected by the spectrum shift, of the sample solution. In addition, it was shown that the temeprature dependence in the transducer was little.
