| 抄録(和) | 本稿では,早期相と晩期相の3次元造影胸部CT像からリンパ節を抽出する手法について述べる.肺がん治療において画像検査によりリンパ節への転移の有無を診断することは重要である.このことから,診断支援を目的とした胸部CT像からのリンパ節の自動抽出が望まれている.自動抽出に関する従来手法では,広範囲な抽出対象領域と不十分な過抽出削減処理により,大量の過抽出が生み出されており,臨床利用に必要な性能を持っていなかった.本手法では,2時相の胸部造影CT像の濃度値特徴を用いてリンパ節の候補領域を粗抽出し,領域拡張処理を適用した候補領域の短軸と長軸の長さ情報を用いて過抽出の削減を行うことで,過抽出の少ない自動抽出結果を得る.本手法を3次元胸部CT像42組に適用し,従来手法および画像検査の診断結果と比較した.実験の結果,抽出領域の再現率は69.9%,適合率は58.4%であった. |
| 抄録(英) | In this paper, we present a method for automated extraction of lymph nodes from 3D contrasted chest CT images taken in early- and late-phases. Image diagnoses of the lymph node metastases are quite important in lung cancer treatments. Automated extraction of lymph nodes from chest CT images by computers is expected to be developed. The previous extraction methods caused a lot of FPs (false positive) due to inadequate target processing regions and insufficient FP reduction processes. We extract lymph node candidates roughly by using the intensity features of the two-phase 3D contrasted chest CT images. We reduce FPs of the lymph node candidates based on the information of the smallest and longest axes of the candidates after processing by a region growing process. We evaluate our method using 42 cases of CT image pairs. The extraction results are compared with diagnosis results by a radiologist. Experimental results showed that the recall and precision rate of the extracted regions were 69.9% and 58.4%, respectively. |
