| 抄録(和) | 本研究では、視線行動に影響を及ぼす個人特性要因として社会的スキルを、状況要因として話題の感情価と会話相手の目線を取り上げ、条件による視線量の違いについて非接触型アイマークレコーダを用いて検討した。16名の女性参加者が、画面に表示される同性の刺激人物に向かって、(1)嬉しかったこと、(2)腹のたったことについて、それぞれ1分間話した。またその際、画面の刺激人物の目線を操作し、(1)実験参加者の方を見ている条件と(2)見ていない条件を設定した。分析の結果、社会的スキルと話題の感情価の交互作用がみられ、社会的スキルが高い場合は、ポジティブな話題について話す方がネガティブな話題について話すよりも刺激人物の目周辺部、および顔全体への視線量が多くなる一方で、社会的スキルが低い場合にはこのような違いが見られないことが示された。この結果は、社会的スキルの定義である「場面に応じた適切な振る舞いをする能力」を実際の行動データで示したものといえる。 |
| 抄録(英) | This study focused on three variables (i.e., social skills as a personality trait, and emotional valence of topics and target person's directions of eyes as situational cues) that might influence on the amount of gaze expressed by participants at a target person, and we investigated the possibility by using an eye mark recorder. 16 female students were ask to talk about either (1) what they felt happy recently or (2) what they got upset recently for 1 minutes to a target person appeared on a monitor. The target parson's direction of eyes was manipulated such as one gazing at a participant and the other looking at downward. The result showed a significant interaction effect between social skills and emotional valence of topics. Participants with high scores on social skills gazed at the target parson's eyes and faces longer when talking about positive topics than talking about negative topics, while participants with low scores did not show such differences. The study provides strong evidence that social skills should be defined as "ability to behave appropriately according to the situation". |
