| 抄録(和) | 視線一致(アイコンタクト)は対人交流を促進する上で重要であるが,アイコンタクトの知覚精度に関する研究は乏しい.本研究では,対面する二者におけるアイコンタクトの知覚範囲体積および瞳孔径を測定し,個人特性との関連を調べた.アイコンタクトの知覚範囲は非常に広く,アイコンタクトへの注意は瞳孔径を拡大させることが明らかとなった.さらにその知覚範囲は性格の外向性および社交性不安障害傾向と関連が認められ,外向性が低く社交性不安障害傾向が高い個人ほどより広い範囲で視線が一致したと過大視する傾向があることを示唆した. |
| 抄録(英) | Eye-contact is important to facilitate the interpersonal exchange during social interactions. However, it is still unclear how accurately humans can perceive the others' gaze direction of others toward directed at themselves in a three-dimensional range space. In this study, we measured the perceptible extent of eye-contact perception and the pupil diameter by using an original face-to-face method. In addition, we examined the relationship between the perceptible extent of eye-contact perception and the individual's personality traits. We found that humans inherently recognize the gaze congruency when the others gaze toward a broad extent in front of them, and that active awareness of gaze congruency elicits a significant pupillary dilation. Furthermore, the total volume of the perceptible extent of eye-contact perception was negatively correlated with the personality traits of extroversion, and positively correlated with the personality trait of social phobia. |
