Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new algorithm for recognition and pose estimation of instance object using 3D point clouds and the texture. In object recognition using 3D point clouds obtained from a range sensor, objects which has the same type but different texture cannot be distinguished. In addition, objects pose of surface of revolution cannot be identify uniquely without texture. The proposed method nominates candidates of object type and poses for the object recognition and the pose estimation by using 3D point clouds. Moreover, we solve the object classification problem and determine the position of the object in detail using texture information.
