Supporting Evolution of i^*SD model using Change Metrics and Reusable Sab-models

Abstract(in English) One of the important reasons to introduce information systems is to minimize human's responsibilities to achieving goals and to maximize the amount of humans' goals to be achieved. We call such good introduction of a system to a current situation as the evolution. A modeling language i^* strategic dependency (SD) model seems to be useful to analyze whether an introduction of an information may be regarded as the evolution. However, there is no clear methodology of such an analysis. We thus propose change metrics on i^* SD model to know how mach a SD model is evolved by an introduction of information systems. Because how to introduce an information system into an as-is model largely depends on analysts, some systematic guidance for such introduction is needed. We thus propose reusable SD sub-models to modularize an introduction of information systems. We also propose an operator to specify how to apply a reusable SD sub-model into an as-is model, and another operator to record unsuitable introduction of information systems for avoiding such introduction again. A large SD model can be expressed as a sequence of small SD models connected by the operators.
