| Abstract(in English) | In this research, we propose a model of associative memory to recall the hierarchical periodic patterns. Conventional associative memory models are possible to remember and recall similar or periodic patterns. However they are not suitable for dealing with hierarchical patterns. Examples of hierarchical patterns include the language system, a word from the letters, a sentence composed of words and so on. Previous study shows that the Chaotic Neural Network with Time Delay Term for Sequential Patterns (CNNTDSP) is able to perform the associative memory that can handle periodic patterns. This model adopts the additional weights between patterns among successive order. In addition, proposed model adopts the additional weights between patterns among successive periodic order to realize hierarchical sequence between periods. Experimental results using a periodic pattern of numbers and letters show that the hierarchical periodic patterns have been correctly recalled by proposed model. |
