Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a method to design an introductory programming course considering the learners as personas having certain motivation aspects. A discipline is understood from the learning behaviors of the learners who have achieved high result in previous courses. We enforce the discipline on personas of the next course utilizing their anxiety. At the same time, we motivate the personas with facilitating services matching their motivation aspects to keep them making efforts. The application of the method on about 500 fist grade students has shown this is a successful approach for designing the courses.
