Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A dynamic spectrum assignment scheme which dynamically divides a common frequency band to two bands for mobile satellite service (MSS) and terrestrial mobile services (MS) respectively is proposed for frequency sharing in Satellite/Terrestrial Integrated Mobile Communication Systems. In the dynamic spectrum assignment scheme, the spectrum allocated to the satellite network decreases as the band is divided. In order to increase the maximum traffic carried by the satellite network, its cluster size (frequency reuse factor) needs to be small, however the inter-satellite cell interference increases resulting in the link quality degradation. To solve this problem, this paper proposes two dynamic channel assignment schemes, i.e. an interference detection based dynamic channel assignment scheme and a positioning based dynamic channel assignment scheme. It also shows the performance evaluation results by computer simulation regarding a blocking probability and a link quality.
