Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Lithium-air batteries are expected as a promising candidate for next-generation-high-density battery. We have researched positive electrode using various carbon materials which contribute to battery performances and electrochemical properties. The high-surface-area carbons showed the large discharge capacities. However, there are many problems to improve the battery properties such as the cycle performance and high-rate discharge. In this study, we investigated the correlation between the cycle performance and synthesis conditions of manganese-based oxide catalysts in the air electrode.
