Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed Real-Time Location System (RTLS) for hospital information system. The proposed RTLS employed Bluetooth based proximity sensing technology that is named BT-ID. BT-ID allows low-power consumption and low cost of practical system. We installed BT-ID beacon stations in hospital sensor network. The station communicates with location tags that a target such as a medical equipment and medical staff equipped. Through experiment in a hospital, proposed multi layer position identification algorithm achieved 88% accuracy rate in a bed position level search.
