| Abstract(in English) | Microwave and Millimeter-wave Photonics (MWP) Technical group has its origin in Optical-Microwave Interaction Technical Group established in 1995, and has discussed and promoted MWP technologies to harmonize and converge microwave and optical-wave technologies. In this year, MWP group will continue the activity as a permanent committee of IEICE. This report will review typical MWP technologies and their applications in information and communication networks, and discusses future possibilities in MWP. |
