Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A NEDO project, "Development of Next-generation High-efficiency Network Device Technology" includes the development of ultrafast all-optical LAN technologies, which are capable of handling large-capacity uncompressed Super High-Vision (SHV) contents with low power consumption, especially within broadcasting stations. This presentation will report on the developed enabling device technologies, and the experimental results of the SHV distribution systems using the developed devices.
