Abstract(in English) | In the medical examination with an endoscope on the medical scene, the automatic polyp detection is aimed to support the manipulation of the endoscope. This paper proposes a method which the polyp is detected using Hessian filter. First, a region with swelling is detected as a polyp candidate region using Hessian filter. Next, color features and edge features are extracted from the polyp candidate, and a polyp is detected by it classify with SVM. The effectiveness of the proposed method was confirmed in the experiment using the actual endoscopic images. |
