Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this study is to reconstruct the shape of a face from images acquired around the head with a monocular camera. This three dimensional face reconstruction is useful in the field of the dentistry and plastic surgery. In this paper we tried a three dimensional face reconstruction with images acquired around the head by a monocular camera with a phase only correlation method. The results showed that we could reconstruct some parts of a face such as eyes, mouse and nose that had several characteristics in its image intensity, however it was very difficult to reconstruct the areas that have no particular change in its intensity such as cheeks.
