Study on Speeding Up of Registration of Point Distribution Model with Entropy-Based Scheduling

Abstract(in English) We propose a scheduling technique for speeding up the registration of a point distribution of a target organ. The schedule is determined by the proposed method based on the Kullback-Leibler divergence between the location of the true organ surface and the its detected candidate points. The factors are called nuisance in this when they disturb the accurate detection of the surface, and the distribution of the nuisances varies according to the location of the surface. We computed the KL divergence based on a set of training data, and determined the schedule of the registration based on the divergence. We report on the result of the scheduling.
