Abstract(in English) This paper describes a method of the deformation of abdominal wall for virtual pneumoperitoneum procedure by utilizing temporal integration method of motion equation of nodes. virtual pneumoperitoneum procedure from 3D abdominal CT images simulates the pneumoperitoneum procedure by using node-spring model for computer-aided laparoscopic surgery. However, in the previous method of the virtual pneumoperitoneum, since one makes the deformation of the node-spring model based on discretization of the displacement direction, it causes that the shape after Virtual pneumoperitoneum procedure is dependent on iterations and the displacement of node for one iteration. In this paper, we propose a method of virtual pneumoperitoneum that deforms the abdominal wall regions by using node-spring-damper model and temporal integration method of motion equation of nodes like the Newmark-β method. We applied this method to four cases of 3D abdominal CT images. We confirmed that the method could deform abdominal wall regions effectively.
