A pseudo-representation coding method considering of a compressed limit

Abstract(in English) In recent years, web images are increasing explosively. We proposed a pseudo-representation coding method based on the web images. The method assumes that a target image is similar to a reference image if the target degradation image is similar to the reference degradation image. However, we do not hold a strict discussion on the assumption. Therefore, a compressed limit of a coding target image was unclear in the conventional method. This paper makes the compressed limit of the pseudo-representation coding method clear from the relation between the quantization parameter and similar images. Then we encode the target image based on the compressed limit.
