Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Installing relay nodes for the cellular network on buses may improve the spectrum efficiency because antennas with higher gain than that of user equipment can be installed. And the handover signals of multiple user equipment are transmitted collectively via the relay node. This results in that the network traffic of control signals can be reduced. But installing relay nodes by each operator independently is not efficient in the the space of the bus. In this study, multi-operator shared mobile relay node is proposed as the solution of this problem. In addition, dynamic spectrum allocation in the link from relay nodes to the user equipment among the operators is proposed. The system performance is evaluated compared with the situation that each operator installs relay nodes individually. As a result, considering the fairness among the operators, the total throughput can be improved up to about 20% in the condition of the difference of each operator's channel condition from the base transmission node to the relay node is large.
