Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We consider the application of fractional frequency reuse (FFR) to the non-orthogonal access with successive interference canceller (SIC) in cellular uplink in order to cope with the inter-cell interference which is a bottleneck to derive the potential gain of the non-orthogonal access with SIC. We propose a frequency block access policy for cell-interior and cell-edge user groups in FFR and proportional fair (PF)-based user group selection metric, which are appropriate for the non-orthogonal access with SIC. From the computer simulation results, we show that the non-orthogonal access with SIC can enhance both the cell-edge and average user throughput simultaneously compared to the orthogonal access when we use the FFR with proposed frequency block access policy and PF-based user group selection metric.
