Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Building an environmentally friendly, safe, and secure society requires the early realization of a variety of supervisory control systems: a smart grid, a natural disaster prevention system, a health and medical care system, and a social welfare system. These supervisory control systems impose different requirements and performance measures: the number of terminals, data rate, electric supply, etc. As a single unified access network satisfying these requirements, this report proposes a concept of "Machine to Machine network consisting of Enormous Number of TERminals without PRImary CElls" (ENTERPRICE M2M network) and shows its research issues.
