Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Frequency offset diversity technique, which transmits signal from multiple antennas with different frequency offset. This diversity technique avoids the continuous performance degradation in mobile environment by varying reception signal power and applying error correction. However, the transmission performance significantly depends on the combination of the initial phase and frequency offset of each transmit signal. And so, some locations with the severe condition remain and this comes to important problem especially fixed point communication system. In this paper, performance enhancement scheme for transmit diversity in fixed point communication is proposed. It can improve the performance with randomizing the initial phase and the frequency offset of each antenna. Finally PER(Packet Error Rate) performance enhancement with the proposed scheme are shown.
