Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Researches on multi-lane optical paths, which enables transporting increasing and diversifying traffic efficiently in transparent optical path networks by utilizing multiple wavelength lanes in parallel, have been conducted. This paper discusses the feasibility of multi-lane optical path networks from a viewpoint of efficiency in path accommodation. We evaluated three path accommodation methods: time-sharing effects in optical layer by adjusting the number of lanes dynamically, effects of partially preempting wavelength lanes, and accommodating each of multiple lanes on diverse routes.
