Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, fast response is demanded to improve the image quality by liquid crystal displays (LCDs). LCDs had a problem to display movies. The scanning frequency of LCDs had been advanced to improve the display of dynamic images year by year. Meanwhile, the field sequential color (FSC) method without the color filter was proposed. FSC-LCD without color filter has merits in low power consumption and high resolution as compared with conventional method. However, the FSC method requires high scanning frequency more than three times compared with the conventional method. In this research, we establish a method for evaluating and analyzing the dynamic characteristics of the FSC-LCD. Authors were developed the evaluation method of a dynamic characteristic of the FSC-LCD is based on a slit-scan method. In this method, the display image is represented to time-space two dimensional image data.
