Abstract(in English) A formulation of the input impedance of a circular microstrip antenna in a parallel plate waveguide is presented. Input impedance is formulated using the cavity model with the boundary admittance at the side. The effect of the parallel plate on the circular microstrip antenna is represented by the surface admittance. Presented formulation is validated through the comparison with measurement results.
