Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC), which has Perfect Magnetic Conductor (PMC) characteristics, is known that it has Electromagnetic Band Gap (EBG) characteristics under a condition. This paper takes up Cross Type AMC as the structure of AMC, and clarifies a relationship between PMC and EBG characteristics by the analysis using equivalent circuit. In this paper, effectiveness of the proposed equivalent circuit has been verified through comparing the analysis result of proposed equivalent circuit and that of Full-wave analysis using Finite Elements Method (HFSS). As the result of analysis, it is clarified that the PMC characteristics appears at higher frequency than the EBG characteristics and the frequency difference between two characteristics becomes large as the Cross Type AMC becomes thin. It is also shown that the EBG characteristics appear in wide frequency band as the metal patch becomes small.
