| 抄録(和) | 画像の領域分割は画像認識において非常に有用な前処理である.本研究は,カラー自然画像を意味のある大まかな領域に分割することを目的としている.本研究では領域分割手法として,カラー特徴とテクスチャ特徴をファジィ推論により統合的に処理して領域分割を行うファジィ分離統合法を提案している.しかし従来の提案手法では,領域分割結果の領域数を前もってパラメータとして指定する必要があった.そこで本研究では,アルゴリズム内で領域数を自動的に決定し,パラメータを指定せずに良好な領域分割結果を得ることができるような改良手法を提案する.本研究ではGround Truthを用いる評価法によって他手法との比較を行い,提案手法の有効性を検証する. |
| 抄録(英) | Image segmentation is a useful preprocessing in image recognition. The purpose of this paper is to develop the perceptual segmentation algorithm of natural color images. We propose the fuzzy-based split-and-merge algorithm as segmentation method that integrates color features and texture features by using fuzzy inference. In the proposed algorithm, however, it is necessary to determine in advance the number of regions in the segmented results as parameter. In this research, we further propose an improved method to produce the favorable segmented results without specifying the number of regions by automatically determining the parameter within the algorithm. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, we perform the comparative experiments in comparison with the other methods using the evaluation with Ground Truth. |
