Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A novel compact quasi-millimeter-wave bandpass filter is designed by using multilayered SIW dual-mode resonators. As higher order degenerate modes, the TE_<102> and TE_<201> modes, of square SIW cavities are used, the size of these cavities are relativity large. As a consequence, the filter is easy to fabricate. On the other hand, as the dual-mode cavities are stacked into two layers, the area occupied by the four-degree filter is reduced by three-fourth. Multiple transmission zeros are obtained because of the coupling between the input and output lines of the filter, as well as the non-resonant modes in the filter. As a result, sharp skirt property of the passband is realized.
