Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we focused on the GPU computing-based interactive simulation of electromagnetic field and evaluated the high-speed visualization using multi-GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), CUDA, OpenGL and PMCC (Permeable Multi Cross-section Contours) proposed as a new visualization method .The GPGPU (General Purpose computation on GPUs) is becoming a new movement for numerical calculation in many technical fields. It can realize a "personal supercomputer". Through the numerical comparison, we showed the feasibility of GPU computing-based interactive simulation with PMCC, and then discussed the comparison results between the volume rendering and PMCC in multi-GPU computing.
