Abstract(in English) Slot waveguide is expect to be used in ultra small devices and also used in devices which have optical nonlinear effect, because of its ability of strong field confinement. In order to integrate these devices in high density, ultra small bending structures with low losses would be required. In this work, we evaluate structural dependence of bending loss in slot waveguide using three-dimensional finite element method, and investigate low bending loss slot waveguide structures.
