Abstract(in English) With the development of nano technology, analysis of interactions between light and nanoparticles becomes increasingly important. Using a combination of a boundary integral equation method and fast inverse Laplace transform, we investigate time domain responses of surface charge distribution on a nanoparticle when electromagnetic waves impinge. Variation of the distribution due to an electric dipole placed near the surface will be discussed.
