Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed a localization method based on array sensor that uses the radio wave propagation of interest. The method can localize a person's position using features derived from eigenvalue decomposition (EVD) with the spatial smoothing processing (SSP). The most advantages of the method are ensuring user's privacy, elimination of installation difficulties, and offering a wide detection area. In addition, the method could achieve high localization accuracy using support vector machine (SVM). In this report, we analyze combination of features including the signal eigenvectors and their corresponding eigenvalues with SSP, and the received signal strength (RSS) on each antenna. Moreover, we study the localization performance by changing the number of snapshots.
