Abstract(in English) We have proposed a network architecture concept named C3E2 (Cognition, Coordination and Cooperation for Economically Efficient resource-usage) for "Pareto-optimal networks" which we regard as a modality of future networks such as New Generation Networks. Advances of network usage will bring not only broad characteristics of traffic patterns, applications, and networks but also various user utilities and network utilities. In order to achieve Pareto optimality, it is necessary to utilize network resources efficiently while avoiding selfish/greedy usages that result in unbalanced and poor resource utilization. Further, it is necessary to develop some mechanisms that appropriately organize and control network resource in order to satisfy various user requirements for power-saving, throughput, link speed, connectivity, and mobility. In this literature, the C3E2 concept and some approaches of network control based on the concept are discussed.
