Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a co-channel interference suppression scheme for OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) systems using pre-FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) type adaptive antenna array at the receiver, where the FFT timing of desired and interfering OFDM symbols are not synchronized (i.e., asynchronous co-channel interference). The proposed method controls the weights of the antenna array so as to minimize the noise power at the output of the frequency domain equalizer assuming zero forcing criterion under the constraint that the power of the asynchronous co-channel interference at the array output is zero. Moreover, we employ a wideband adaptive antenna array, which has a tapped delay line at each element, to cope with multiple co-channel interference signals without increasing the number of antenna elements. We evaluate the BER (bit error rate) performance of the proposed scheme and show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
