Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When configuring a network system, the network administrator has to consider about the structure of the network system. Today, it becomes difficult to manage network systems with legacy techniques such as manual operations or simple scrips. We propose the concept of Service Defined Networks (SvDN), which allow a network administrator to manage a network system without considering about the structure of it. In the conventional way, a network administrator configures each network equipment one by one in managing a network system. In contrast, an SvDN automatically configures a network system based on the policy specified by the network administrator and the topology database of it. In this paper, we show a model of network equipments and a design of a topology database, which are basic components of the SvDN.
