Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) NTT is promoting the deployment of the Next Generation Network (NGN) in Japan. The NGN is based on the Internet Protocol (IP) and is integrated with the data and the voice communication. Considering the specifications of 3GPP, an additional service should be provided through the cooperation between the S-CSCF and the Application Server (AS). When the S-CSCF receives the SIP request, S-CSCF checks iFC conditions are matched by the SIP request. If it matches, the S-CSCF forwards the SIP request to the AS for provide an additional service. For providing some additional services, it is necessary to continue these processes suitably in the S-CSCF. Therefore 3GPP has specified the method which is using ODI for correlating SIP requests in the S-CSCF. In this paper, we consider the implementation conditions and the concerns for continuing iFC matching processes suitably in the S-CSCF. Then we propose the ODI usage for solving the concerns.
