Development and Evaluation of FeliCa Stamp Rally Ver. 2 System

Abstract(in English) FeliCa stump rally events, which are science and technology exhibitions for young people, have been held under the collaboration with the campus festival executive committee. The authors have developed the whole system and have operated it at the author's campus festival. In the last year, some schoolchildren run through check-points (CP) by ignoring explanations at CPs to get the prize of perfect score, and some problems due to operations in the huge campus were also cleared. For solving these problems, the new web-based system with some features, such as quizzing to participants, online community for staff communication, and a network management system, have been developed as the version 2 and have used at the recent campus festival. Though a thousand of participants could enjoy the event likewise the last year, the log data has pointed out that the enhancement of navigation function is necessary. After describing the key points and evaluation results of the system, a new navigation method using tree structure routing algorism is discussed.
