Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We aim to estimate the configuration of finger segments from sensor data of DataGlove. We describe the configuration in two ways, ball-joint and loose-joint. The mathematical relationship between sensor data and the configuration is not trivial. In order to investigate the relationship, we remodel the DataGlove so that we can get the sensor data and the configuration of finger segments simultaneously, and we have got a lot of pairs of them. We applied regression analysis to them, and built the estimators of configuration. We compared their accuracies between ball-joint and loose-joint.
