Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we introduce our two researches in the context of recent development on computational devices. The first is a method for extracting fast and compact local descriptors that can be suitably used on devices equipped with a low-end CPU, such as mobile phones and in-vehicle processors. The second is to reduce computation time of machine learning by utilizing MATLAB plug-in software that enables us to easily use GPU without special skill on parallel computing. |
