Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper reports on performance evaluations for low energy superframe that is employed by IEEE 802.15.4g/4e draft compliant multi-hop SUN (Smart Utility Networks) in order to improve low power consumption performance with adaptive active period definitions. In this paper, computer simulations evaluate the low energy superframe system in its frame success rate and power consumption performances with parameters of active period configuration, traffic, data frame size and service area size, in comparison with conventional IEEE 802.15.4 standard system. Moreover, this paper also reports on proof test of data collection by using the developed SUN radio terminals.
