Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An ultra-wideband bandpass filter (UWB BPF) along with a tunable notch circuit is proposed in this paper. We have examined a compact UWB BPF which consists of shunt parallel-coupled lines and two transmission lines with a coupling capacitor inbetween. In this study, a new resonator is combined between the weakly-coupled resonators of the UWB BPF and the resonator creates a notch at the passband. The notch frequency was tuned by a varactor. As the results, the proposed BPF had the fractional bandwidth over 110 % and the notch frequencies from 2.1 to 2.7 GHz were realized. In addition, it was shown that the two stage tunable notch circuit improved the attenuation characteristics.
