Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Unproductive "copy and paste", which may not lead to knowledge construction, is a problem in report writing from the Web. To solve this problem, we developed a report writing support system. The system provides a student with a note-taking function for information scrutiny (comparison and application), restricts copy and paste of text information on Web pages, and visualizes his/her report writing process for reflection. From a comparative experiment, we found that the system could help the participants stabilize their constructed knowledge, but the reflection support function was not used enough.
