A System for Overlaying an Illustration to a Real Map on the Web

Abstract(in English) WebGIS(Web Geographic Information System), it has spread rapidly since the advent of Google Maps, and it is now used in various applications. However, in the information displayed in the existing WebGIS, local information is not enough when you want the information of detailed local areas. It is difficult to use this WebGIS when you prepare to see the sights and use the maps there. So, even if the map is inaccurate, we are sure that we can makes illustrated maps containing useful information about specific locations. In this paper, a system for overlaying the illustrative map to the real map.
