Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We expect that a huge amount of spatial data will be available in an ubiquitous network era. One theory of handling such a spatial data is integral geometry (geometric probability). In this report, we assume that there are many networked binary sensors of which locations are unknown and investigate whether we can find information not available from individual sensors by gathering the sensory data from all sensors. We investigated the shape estimation problem for a target object as a concrete example. This report summarizes the results we have obtained so far.
