Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In TCP communication, each terminal tries to obtain as much bandwidth as possible. This control causes the differences of transfer rates among terminals and disrupts the video stream service. In order to solve this problem, we propose a new TCP window size control method using the channel occupancy for a wireless network. Our method is intended to fairly share the bandwidth among the terminals. Each terminal controls the maximum TCP window size not to generate excessive traffic. We confirmed that the proposed method improves the quality of video communication by computer simulation experiments.
