| 抄録(和) | 対象の明度を知覚するとき,その周囲の近接する領域の輝度が影響することが知られている.本研究では,そのような周囲の単純な輝度情報以外に,その対象が置かれた空間環境についての情報が与える,より間接的な影響について調べた.実験では,室内,屋外,森の自然画像を用いて,それらの空間環境の違いや画像内容の認識が対象の明度知覚に与える影響を調べた.被験者は,均一なグレーの背景の上にある応答パッチの輝度を調節することにより,自然画像の中央に配置されたターゲットパッチの知覚的明度を応答した.分析の結果,明度知覚において,周囲の空間環境の認識による影響があることが示唆された.また,周囲の物理的な輝度特性による影響についても単純な対比効果だけでなく,輝度分布特性による影響があることが示唆された. |
| 抄録(英) | This study investigated the relationship between the perceived lightness of an object and the spatial layout of the surrounding environment. In the experiment, we presented multiple images of indoor and outdoor scenes with different spatial layouts. Participants responded the perceived lightness of a test patch presented on the image, by adjusting that of a comparison patch presented on uniform gray background. We manipulated the information about the spatial layout of the surround picture by changing the orientation of the pictures and by scrambling the pictures. Results showed that the response varied according to the surrounding scene and the manipulation of the spatial layout information, suggesting that the recognition of the surrounding spatial layout affects perceived lightness. |
