Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) NIRS is a method for brain activity measurement whose constraints during the measurement are less than other conventional methods. Brain activity during body movement and its imagery is measured by NIRS. However, there are problems in the analysis of NIRS data because it has noise and it is difficult to make comparison among channels or subjects due to difference in optical path length factors. In this report, we attempt to use variance plots that have been proposed for solving these problems and tried to analyze NIRS signals during execution of complex finger tapping and its imagery.
